Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson believes the club is already planning for a future without Pep Guardiola, amid uncertainty surrounding the manager’s contract expiration.
In an interview with TNT Sports Brazil, Ederson praised Manchester City’s robust organizational structure, crediting its success to effective management and strategic planning. “The club has exceptional management, great directors, and a capable CEO,” he said.
Ederson expressed confidence in the club’s preparedness for Guardiola’s potential departure, stating, “I think they already have the next manager in mind… They’ll continue with the same vision and principles.”
While acknowledging Guardiola’s monumental impact, Ederson emphasized the club’s ability to adapt. “We’re talking about the best manager in the world… But I see a well-prepared club for the post-Pep era.”
Under Guardiola, Manchester City has achieved remarkable success, including six Premier League titles and the UEFA Champions League trophy.
